Keep Track of Your Child’s Growth
You know when you take your young ones to see their doctors, they measure their weight, height and head circumference? Then they give you a percentage to let you know how your child compares to other children. This can be an important factor in determining if your child is developing normally and may provide early warning if your child has medical problems.
The growth charts were developed by scientists measuring and weighing thousands of children, and a world (in case of WHO) and a national (CDC) standard was established. Whenever I go to my pediatrician, they plot my child’s information on these official looking graphs. And then they either jot down the information on a piece of paper or let me know verbally. I, of course, always misplace this information or forget it!
I mean, there should be an app for that right? I would like to share an app called Baby Growth Chart Tracker available for Apple devices. It’s the best of app of its kind to keep track of your child’s growth information. And it also has a built in height calculator so that you can easily predict your child’s adult height. If you think this would be helpful, you can download it and use it free by clicking on this link.
